Xbox: The Together Experience Another project for Microsoft. My roll with this one was far less production and much more initial research. I was in charge of figuring out how we were going to pull off many of the tricks and transitions in both the intro and the idle loops that play while the site waits for you to click around. FireFox: Users Against Boredom This was a fun little viral video project for Firefox. I was the camera man for all the B-roll and would up as the editor. I also added a dash of twinkle towards the end of the project. The whole thing was a blast, unfortunatly it wound up getting leaked and the project was killed. Halo 3: BELIEVE This is the experiential site that goes along with the “Believe” TV campaign that McCann did. This is easily my favorite project to date. In part because I’m a geek and because I learned a ton. I did scene assembly, including 3d motion tracking and texturing for sky replacement, initial color correction and all the motion tracking of the various clickable hotspots which were integrated into flash by this guy. http://www.halo3.com/believe **UPDATE** September 20th, 2007: Believe is named Site of the day at TheFWA.com **UPDATE** Believe won Site of the Month for September of 2007 at TheFWA.com
Halo 3: IRIS I wore a lot of different hats on this project. I did initial concept modeling for the server itself, all the 3d and post assembly on the final environments, and edited/effected/modeled a city/etc… for the content videos. Microsoft Experience Disk This project took the better part of a year from start to finish. I was involved from pitch to final production. The final product was an in store experience to promote the launce of Windows Vista. It was distributed to 50,000 retailers globaly, and was translated into 12 languages. Lebron Site Intro This was a wonderful project. I was given boards, a photoshop doc, and 24hours to come up with some sort of video intro for a Lebron James promo site Nike was running in Asia. http://www.nikebasketball.com.sg/
PGR3 Style This was part of a promotional website for the Xbox 360 launch title Project Gotham Racing 3. I was responsible for the editing and transition effects in the "style" section as well as the editing and smoke effects in the rich media ads that accompanied the site. http://www.projectgothamracing3.com **UPDATE** - Projectgothamracing3.com won a Silver Pencil at the 2006 One Show.
Thrasher DVD Open This was an opening animation I did with Thomas McMahan while at ex'pression. The dvds never got released so in the end it was all for nothing, but as far as I'm concerned this is still one of my favorite projects I've ever worked on, as well as the only one of my older pieces that I'm still proud of.
